As Kirkwood’s production cornerstone, Craig led nearly two years of research, development and experimentation to bring TWAS’s vision to life. From unconventional materials to dozens of prototypes, Craig and his team explored every possibility until they found the perfect balance of beauty, durability, and artistry—transforming a beloved Christmas tradition into a true heirloom.
A mixed-media fine artist known for her intricate gold and silver leafing, Evgeniya’s work is deeply influenced by the beautifully illustrated fairy tales of her childhood. Her travels and years spent living across different countries have further shaped her artistic style and the characters she creates. That passion for storytelling ultimately led to a multi-year exploration of ’Twas the Night Before Christmas, reimagining the beloved classic through a lens that feels both timeless and entirely new—and resulting in the original artwork featured throughout the book today.

Olga's passion for bringing stories to life through her illustrations can be seen in her interpretation of each detail. She experiments with many mediums — her go-to favorites including watercolor, gouache, and colored pencils. She is especially drawn to magical stories that explore heartfelt emotions and true imagination.
